Red face

I have a horrible cold and cough, and I think I'm starting to get a fever. I feel so icky!! My tounge is like swollen, and all I can eat is oatmeal. I just got back from vacation, and I wanted to play with my friends and my guinea pig, but I can't!! Oh well... any ideas on what I could do???

You can email me for my recipe for fighting colds and flu, if you want.

In the meantime, you can take 2 full-sized carrots with each meal (or the mini-carrot equivalent), and 500 mg of Vitamin C with each meal, and a clove of garlic with each meal. You can also stay clear away from anything with sugar in it, because sugar inhibits your immune system from doing its job. Getting lots of sleep helps, too.

    May you heal quickly.

We have always used Johnson's "Soothing Vapor Bath" (we use the generic version) for Mae when she has a cold. Now we all love it.It is soooo soothing. You might want to give it a try if you get too miserable.Feel better soon.
